American Express is building a new facility on their 90 acre site at 56th Street and Mayo Boulevard where they already have 3 buildings. The company plans to transfer 3,000 employees from a North Phoenix location to the new campus in Northeast Phoenix.
They plan to break ground early next year with an anticipated move-in date end of 2019. Various employees in customer service, fraud detection, collections and other business areas will make the move to the new campus.
The company’s current statewide count is around 7,000 employees making it the 20th largest non government employer in Arizona.
