If you are looking for a job in 2018, the Phoenix area may be the place to start your search. A recent study conducted by WalletHub released that Chandler and Scottsdale have ranked as the two best cities in the nation to find a job this year.
Peoria and Gilbert also ranked among the top five cities for jobs in the new year. The highest employment growth in the country also went to Chandler, Peoria and Gilbert.
Tempe, Mesa and Phoenix ranked among the top 100 cities in the country for jobs, with Tempe coming in at No. 20, Mesa at No. 56 and Phoenix coming in at No. 61.
Jim Rounds with the Rounds Consulting Group said Arizona could be among the top five states in the country when it comes to job and population growth this year. “Overall, Arizona is on solid footing,” he said. “Expect us…to be in the top five, both for job growth and population growth.”
