You won’t have to go up north for the snow this week, and it’s all thanks to the Arizona Science Center in downtown Phoenix.
The center is bringing in more than 75 tons of snow for its annual snow week, which begins Tuesday 12/26 and runs through New Year’s Day.
Guests will get a chance to play in the snow after paying general admission into the Arizona Science Center. They’ll also have access to interactive science demonstrations all week. It includes everything from explosion demonstrations with liquid nitrogen and building gumdrop domes to exploring geometry with leftover candies and making instant snow. Guests will also get to experience ice-themed shows and movies in the Arizona Science Center’s planetarium and giant screen theater.
