As your Real Estate Consultant, we know how important it is to homebuyers to be able to picture themselves living in a home and staging a home makes that process much easier for potentials buyers.
The National Association of Realtors surveyed their members and according to their findings of the Annual Profile of Home Staging, seventy-seven percent of buyers’ agents said that staging a home made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as a future home. Nearly two-thirds of seller’s agents said that staging a home decreases the amount of time the home spends on the market and fifty percent of staged homes saw a 1-10% increase in dollar value offered from buyers.
The top rooms to stage to attract more buyers are the living room (55%), master bedroom (51%), and the kitchen (41%).
The most common rooms that are staged include the living room (83%), kitchen (76%), master bedroom (69%), and the dining room (66%).
Beyond staging, the most common home improvement projects recommended to sellers are decluttering the home (93%), entire home cleaning (89%), and carpet cleaning (81%).
